A few kilometers outside Kalamata, in Zevgolatio, Messinia, lies the boutique, visitable winery Ktima Oinotropai, at the heart of privately-owned vineyards covering 65 acres (approx. 0.26 sq km). The family history begins in the late 1980s with the planting of Carignan and Tempranillo and continues with both international and Greek varieties.
