Pamidi 85%
Syrah 15%

This wine was dedicated to the name «Avdiros«, after the son of the god Hermes from Opounda in Lokrida. According to Greek mythology, the demigod Heracles built the town of Avdira in Thrace in memory of his friend Avdiros when he was killed in the fight with the wild horses of King Diomedes of Thrace. This label features the wild horse of Thrace. This wine is the result of joint vinification of the reddish, intensely fruity and aromatic Pamidi variety (85%) with red Syrah (15%), in order to intensify the color and produce a spicier taste. The wine is particularly aromatic, very fresh in both its taste and its aroma, because of the fact that the Pamidi variety, which was resurrected by the estate, is a sweet and aromatic (edible) type of grape that provides fresh strawberry, cherry, and sour cherry aromas (this is the nature of the variety). The wine provides a pleasantly sweet aftertaste due to residual sugar.
