This wine took the name «Avdiros«, from the son of the god Hermes, who was descended from Opounda in Lokrida. According to Greek mythology, the demigod Heracles built the town of Avdira in Thrace in memory of his friend Avdiros when he was killed in the fight with the wild horses of King Diomedes of Thrace. This label features the wild horse of Thrace. The wine has a soft lemon yellow shade, intense fruity aromas of peach, exotic fruits, and lemon blossoms. Its taste is characterized by a rich, refreshing sharpness and a long-lasting aromatic aftertaste.
