Considered an innovative and quite daring wine for its time when it was first introduced in 1985, it opened new horizons for Greek winemaking and today is considered a landmark wine.
A key element of its character is the smooth blending of the cosmopolitan varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot and the 20 month aging in new French oak barrels.
Bright, opaque deep red color. Intense nose, showing the full varietal typicity of Cabernet Sauvignon—ripe black fruit, cedar and cigar. Good tannic structure with well-balanced acidity, elegant and long on the finish.
