Το οινοποιείο Silva Δασκαλάκη εδρεύει στο Νομό Ηρακλείου και συγκεκριμένα στο χωριό Σίβα. Η ευρύτερη περιοχή ανήκει σε μία από τις ζώνες Προστατευόμενης Ονομασίας Προέλευσης – ΠΟΠ Δαφνές που αφορά στην ποικιλία Λιάτικο.Το όνομα SILVA προερχεται από το τοπωνύμιο Σιβα (si-wa), το οποίο παραπέμπει στον Θεό Σίβα (Διόνυσο) και σώζεται το όνομα στην αρχαιότερη «ζώσα» θρησκεία του πλανήτη, την ινδουιστική. Πρόκειται για ένα μικρό χωριό, 17χλμ, έξω από το Ηράκλειο και παρουσιάζει ιδιαίτερο ιστορικό πλούτο, καθώς αποτελούσε αντικείμενο λατρείας στην ευρύτερη περιοχή.

Truly the most amazing experience. Christos was extremely welcoming and informative. My friends and I felt like family. The wine speaks for itself. I would like to say, you have not visited Crete, unless you have experienced their art of wine. It is truly an experience of a lifetime. Every wine to touch your lips gives you such a wow factor.
