The Estates Costa Lazaridi in Drama is located in Adriani, just 12 km away from the city of Drama. It represents the culmination of the wine journey of its founder, Kostas Lazaridis, which began in the 1970s with the planting of the first modern linear vineyard in the wider region of the Drama prefecture, an achievement that earned him the title of the “patriarch” of Drama’s wines. Today, the estate’s vineyards cover a total area of 3,000 stremmata, spread across four areas of the Drama prefecture, and fully exploit the potential of the region’s terroir.

An absolute highlight for wine lovers!
Visiting the Costa Lazaridi winery was a truly memorable experience. You immediately sense the passion and long tradition of this historic estate. The sheer diversity is particularly impressive: the winery spans approximately 300 hectares, spread across four carefully selected vineyard sites in the Drama region. This unique terroir allows you to taste the meticulous attention to detail and the exceptionally high quality of the grapes in every wine.
The cellar tour was highly professional, the facilities are state-of-the-art, and the subsequent tasting was the perfect ending. The wines (especially the Amethystos and Château Julia ranges) are top-notch, balanced, and complex. The fine brandies and balsamic vinegar are also absolutely worth trying. If you're looking to experience excellent Greek wines in a beautiful setting, this is the place to be. Highly recommended.
