Idaia Winery is a family-owned winery founded by oenologists Vasilis Laderos and Kalliopi Volitaki, with the aim of highlighting the island’s indigenous grape varieties and the multifaceted Cretan vineyard. The winery is located in the heart of the Cretan vineyard, in the province of Malevizio, in the village of Venerato, south of Heraklion, within the Dafnes PDO zone.
Today, the winery produces approximately 130,000 bottles of wine, 35% of which are exported to more than 10 countries around the world.
