Durakis Winery was founded in 1988 by Mr. Andreas Durakis, with a vision to promote the Cretan vineyard and local grape varieties. It is located in the Chania Prefecture, specifically in the village of Alikampos, and combines tradition with modern winemaking. With respect for the vine and a focus on quality, it creates wines that authentically express the character of Crete. Through tastings, visitors learn about the winery’s history, its wines, and enjoy a warm, authentic hospitality experience.

Haciendo ruta por la isla, nos salió de casualidad muy cerca de donde estábamos,como era la hora del aperitivo,fuimos con intención de hacer una cata, el trato fue tan bueno q nos quedamos a comer, los vinos exquisitos, la chica q nos atendió...hizo el esfuerzo de hablarnos en castellano,hecho q se aprecia mucho...un encanto...comimos súper bien,una experiencia para repetir.

Me and my friend had a wonderful experience at Dourakis Winery. Beautiful scenery, delicious food and wine. The staff is very kind and welcoming. We booked late which was not a problem, and the staff was helpful with finding transport to the location. The experience felt like being welcomed into someones home. Highly recommend booking the cooking class with Olga which was truly one of the highlights of our trip! She was an excellent host, very informative about the food and we had lots of leftovers to bring home. If we return to Crete we will be coming back ☺️
