The biggest wine event in Greece comes to Rhodes (1/6/2026 – 31/10/2026)
Rhodes is preparing to host a new major cultural and wine event of national scope. The “Greek Wine Festival – Rhodes 2026” arrives from June to October 2026, transforming Elli Beach and the emblematic gardens of the historic Grande Albergo Delle Rose into an open, multi-thematic space dedicated to Greek wine, history, culture, and hospitality.
The event is organized by the local Koin.S.Ep. “Rodion Dromena” (Rhodes Actions), an officially certified body of the Social and Solidarity Economy, aiming to highlight the Greek wine heritage and promote Rhodes as a leading destination for wine and cultural tourism.
The festival serves as the dynamic, interactive forerunner of the future Museum of Greek Wine Culture, which is planned to be housed in the historic former Alhadeff Bank building in the Medieval Town of Rhodes, with the support and concession of the Ministry of Culture.
An open-air wine festival in the heart of the Rhodian Riviera
The Greek Wine Festival – Rhodes 2026 will operate daily, from 18:00 to 24:00, in a unique, high-aesthetic seaside setting in the heart of cosmopolitan Rhodes.
Within this framework, the Koin.S.Ep. “Rodion Dromena” will provide 50,000 free vouchers (value €20 / 2 people), called “The Greek Wine Pass,” to foreign visitors of Rhodes through partner hotels, travel agents, and local bodies.
By presenting the voucher, visitors will be able to enjoy:
Free entry to the festival grounds
A Private Wine Tasting Flight of three Greek wines
Guided tasting by expert sommeliers
An interactive experience introducing the history of the Greek vineyard
The tasting will include three carefully selected Greek wines, representing different styles and expressions of Greek wine.
